Jack Gonzalez is the Director of Marketing & Sales for the American Public Transportation Association (APTA), North America’s foremost organization dedicated to the advancement of public transportation. He is responsible for managing a broad range of internal and external marketing activities aimed at increasing the profile of APTA and creating maximum support and use of public transportation and the benefits it brings to communities and customers. Additionally, he serves as staff advisor for APTA’s Marketing and Communications Committee, which works to broaden the understanding and integration of marketing as a critical component in the management of public transportation and to enhance the skills of public transportation marketing practitioners. Prior to joining APTA in 1999, Jack served as marketing director for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions, based in Alexandria, Virginia, where he worked with such companies as Disney and Six Flags Corporation. Jack holds a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and journalism from The Ohio State University. Jack, his wife, Jacqueline, and their two daughters live in Arlington, Virginia, where Jack commutes to the office on Washington D.C.’s Metrorail system.

Jacque Brown is a strategic communications consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, a management consulting firm with more than 90 years of service to businesses and governments worldwide. As her team’s Event Coordination and Market Intelligence Lead, Jacque is responsible for identifying opportunities like the APTA Marketing and Communications Workshop to exchange ideas with the industry’s leading experts. She also works on an outreach project promoting Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for the Virginia Department of Transportation. Jacque holds a Masters of Pulic Administration from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Texas State University. Before attending graduate school, she worked as a journalist in Killeen, Texas.
